Synopsis

This collection features four slice-of-life stories. In The Rain and a Cat, Reki, Langa, and Miya arrive at the skatepark for their usual session, only to be caught in a sudden downpour. They retreat to Reki’s home and begin playing Karuta, a Japanese card game they have apparently discovered. Becoming Really Serious About Things explores the past of Sakurayashiki and Nanjo, who spent their high school years largely unnoticed. Although the two constantly clashed and competed, the narrative examines the implications of their rivalry. Morning Routine delves into the daily lives of Ainosuke and Kikuchi, revealing the mysteries of their routines, their secret interactions, and moments that bring them closer together. Finally, Hiromi, Do Your Best! portrays Shadow, the nighttime anti-hero, as he demonstrates his noble and kind nature while working diligently at a flower shop during the day in this three-part flash story.
