Synopsis
In the year 2004 AD, chaos erupts when the sky fills with UFOs piloted by mysterious frog-like aliens—or so 12-year-old Fuyuki Hinata dreams. At the same time, Sergeant Keroro, the head of an advance team for the Keronian invasion of Pekopon (the alien name for Earth), starts his mission by breaking into Fuyuki's home. After overpowering the boy and his sister, Keroro intends to reunite with his squad and return to the mothership to fix his crucial invasion device, the Kero Ball. However, he learns that headquarters has abandoned his unit's extraction due to an unforeseen problem that caused the rest of the Keronians to flee. As a result, Keroro is forced to live at the Hinata house alongside the friendly, wide-eyed Fuyuki; his athletic, hot-tempered sister Natsumi; and their hardworking, attractive mother Aki. Stuck on Earth indefinitely, Keroro and his platoon spend each day scheming for world domination, but are constantly foiled by various unexpected circumstances. Nevertheless, as they coexist with humans, they come to see them as friends and allies, forming comedic yet meaningful bonds that make their lives on Earth worthwhile.
