Synopsis
Ning Que finds himself transported to a world that resembles the Tang Dynasty, but it is actually a perilous realm of cultivation. He initially believes he can lead a life of ease and rise above others, yet he discovers he possesses no aptitude for cultivation. Worse, at the age of four, he witnesses the slaughter of his entire family and is pursued across thousands of miles. While fleeing for his life, he retrieves a black umbrella from a field of blood and corpses and discovers the infant Sangsang. In his despair, this gives him a reason to live. Refusing to accept his fate, he sets out with the large black umbrella and Sangsang, launching a thrilling rebellion against destiny.
