Synopsis

A British travel and dining journalist named Michael Booth, along with his wife Lissen and their two children Ansger (six years old) and Emil (four), sets off on a 100-day expedition through Japan to experience a broad range of Japanese foods. Booth's journey was motivated by Shizuo Tsuji's book Japanese Cooking, A Simple Art.
