Synopsis
A 2019 short film from the Anime Tamago training project (Flying Ship Production, dir. Masanori Numaguchi). Bal, a poor island boy, rigs a makeshift boat and raises a pirate flag with his crew — his pig friend Bu, his sister Muge and the giant salamander Kuna — dreaming of riches through piracy. Across two misadventures, first boarding a cruise ship secretly run by toy thieves and then a floating city of oblivious wealthy businessmen, his schemes keep backfiring into good deeds instead.
