Synopsis
Hidomi Hibajiri is a disenchanted girl who never removes her headphones. Her routine never changes—school, helping at her mother's café, and listening to music. With nothing to disrupt the crushing repetition, she keeps her headphones on constantly. That changes when a mysterious woman wielding a guitar runs her over. Later that night, a robot bursts into Hidomi's room alongside a classmate, Ko Ide, and the two are chased through town. The guitar-wielding woman rescues them, but now Hidomi has a horn sprouting from her forehead. She has no idea where the robots come from, what kind of "vespa woman" this strange guitarist warns her about, or what the thing on her forehead is, but clearly she can't just drown it all out with her headphones anymore.
