Synopsis
Suzune Miyama spent much of her childhood bedridden due to a weak heart, yet she never abandoned her dream of becoming an idol. Her chance finally arrives when she enters the seventh Selection Project, a grueling competition infamous for launching the career of the legendary idol Akari Amasawa. Although her singing captivates both the judges and her rivals, Suzune freezes from nerves during her preliminary performance. She recovers quickly, but the error costs her the victory, resulting in her disqualification. However, the situation takes an unexpected turn when Seira Kurusu, the competitor who beat Suzune, announces her withdrawal from the contest. Seira believes Suzune possesses superior talent and deserves the opportunity to compete. Taken aback by this gesture, Suzune vows to Seira that they will reunite as top idols and steel herself for the difficult trials ahead.
