Synopsis
After losing his job and becoming homeless, Mito Yamamoto is consumed by despair. His luck worsens when he cuts his hand at a cafe, where the eccentric server Ruka Saotome tastes his blood and recoils in disgust. Dejected, Mito heads to a bridge to end his life, but Ruka saves him and reveals his true nature as a vampire. Because he cannot consume blood from ordinary women, Ruka offers Mito a pact: become his thrall and primary food source in exchange for a home and a supply of love-infused blood. The problem is that Mito is actually a girl. She hides her feminine appearance and long hair to enroll in the all-male Hijirigaoka Boys' High School and work part-time at the cafe alongside Ruka. As her connection with Ruka strengthens, Mito finds it increasingly difficult to maintain her secret.
