Synopsis
In Neo Kyoto, the card game Build Divide dictates every aspect of life, from social hierarchy to personal disputes. Mastery of the game is the key to success, with the ultimate goal for every participant being the title of King, a position that confers absolute authority over the city. Teruto Kurabe awakens in this world with only his name and a deck of cards, having no memory of the game itself. He is aided by Sakura Banka, who teaches him how to play and reminds him of his primary objective: to meet the King at all costs. Together, they discover that the Rebuild tournament offers the best opportunity for an audience with the ruler, as the player who gathers twenty-one tokens earns the right to challenge the King. As Teruto competes, fragments of his past return, casting doubt on the true nature of Neo Kyoto.
