Synopsis
Commander Kadomatsu and the crew of Japan’s most advanced battlecruiser, the Mirai, are preparing for routine drills to test its cutting-edge Aegis System when a mysterious phenomenon sends them back in time to June 4, 1942—the day of the decisive Battle of Midway, which shattered the Japanese fleet. Kadomatsu impulsively rescues Kusaka, a pilot whose zero fighter is going down, and this single act seals the Mirai’s destiny. The crew swears to avoid any further interference with the past, but circumstances force them into combat against a U.S. submarine—a battle that never happened in the original timeline. This clash triggers a cascade of events that could permanently rewrite history.
