Synopsis
Shinichi Kanou is a shut-in who possesses exhaustive knowledge of anime, manga, and video games. When he applies for a job to break out of his reclusive lifestyle, he gets kidnapped and transported to the Eldant Empire, a fantasy world filled with elves, dragons, and dwarves. The Japanese government assigns him the role of an Otaku Missionary, charged with spreading otaku culture. With assistance from the half-elf maid Myucel and Princess Petralka, Shinichi must deal with political schemes, social hierarchies, and racial discrimination as he brings the ways of the otaku to this new realm.
