Synopsis
A long winter ago, near-immortal vampires began spreading across the world. As their numbers grew rapidly, they quickly displaced humanity from its position at the top of the food chain. To avoid extinction, the surviving humans gathered in their last refuge—a small city enclosed by a massive wall. There, they have been fighting the vampires for years. During a particularly fierce vampire attack, a human soldier named Momo encounters Fiine, the queen of their enemies. After witnessing Fiine attempt to save Momo's best friend from a rampaging vampire, Momo follows Fiine back to her home. There, Momo bonds with Fiine over their shared love of music and desire to escape the conflict. Chasing that goal of escape, the two decide to journey toward a rumored paradise where humans and vampires coexist—even though they are unsure if it truly exists. However, both races are targeting Momo and Fiine, and they must evade them if they hope to reach their destination safely.
