Synopsis
Continues the story of High School DxD New
In "High School DxD New," Issei Hyoudou, the high school pervert with dreams of becoming the Harem King, finds himself caught up in even more intense adventures. While the Occult Research Club goes about its usual business, Issei notices that their Knight, Yuuto Kiba, has grown unusually distracted and less alert. Looking into the matter, Issei uncovers Kiba's dark and violent past, which is tied to the mysterious Holy Swords. After enduring a brutal experiment, Kiba is now determined to get revenge on those responsible. The return of a familiar enemy, along with the arrival of two new Holy Sword users, pulls Issei and his fellow Devils into yet another sinister scheme.
In this installment
With summer break starting at Kuoh Academy, Issei Hyoudou—the Red Dragon Emperor—and the other members of the Occult Research Club resume their activities. After their fight against Issei's rival Vali and the Chaos Brigade, it becomes clear that Rias Gremory's team still lacks experience. To prepare for future threats, Rias and Azazel lead the club through intense training in the Underworld. During this time, the team's bonds grow stronger, while Issei gets more involved in close relationships with the girls of the Occult Research Club. At the same time, their enemies become more powerful and increase in numbers. The situation worsens when Loki, the Evil God from Norse mythology, appears unexpectedly, setting the stage for dramatic confrontations and powerful devil battles in High School DxD BorN!
Background
