Synopsis

In Tokyo's newly created Shiniki district, Zen Seizaki works as a diligent public prosecutor at the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office. Assigned to a false advertising case, Zen, together with his assistant officer Atsuhiko Fumio, looks into Japan Supiri, a pharmaceutical company that submitted fake clinical trial data for its new drug. While examining the file of Shin Inaba, an anesthesiologist linked to the crime, the investigation takes a dark turn when Zen discovers a page stained with a mix of blood, hair, and skin, with the letter "F" scrawled all over it. As he probes further, the case expands beyond Zen's expectations and grows immensely complicated, challenging his sense of justice and his grasp of the truth. Delving deeper into the investigation, Zen starts to uncover a hidden scheme behind the ongoing mayoral election, along with connections to various people of interest involved in the election and those closer to him than he realizes. The case intensifies, thrusting Zen into an unforeseen storm of corruption and deceit surrounding the election, the creation of the Shiniki district, and the mysterious woman tied to it all.
