Synopsis
Fukuro, meaning "bag" or "sack" in Japanese, is a three-minute animated short film from 2001. It includes Pyramid Head and the Lying Figure from Silent Hill 2, as well as the Fukuro Lady and various monsters originally designed for early concept sketches of Silent Hill 2. The animation is noted for its eerie and surreal imagery. Masahiro Ito, the series' art director, is credited with the creature designs, while the soundtrack was created by Akira Yamaoka. This short has appeared in publications such as Art of Silent Hill, Lost Memories: The Art & Music of Silent Hill, and The Silent Hill Experience.
