Synopsis
Sakura Sakurakouji seems sweet and fragile, but she is actually a powerful martial artist with a strong sense of justice. Her perspective on the world changes when she sees people being engulfed in blue flames on the bus ride home, yet the police find no evidence of any crime. Her disbelief fades the next day when Rei Oogami, the boy she witnessed committing murder, shows up as a new transfer student in her class. Although his kind and gentle personality makes him popular, contradicting Sakura’s suspicions, she eventually discovers his hidden truth: he is a Code Breaker, a being that is not supposed to exist. With mysterious powers, Rei enforces his own brand of vigilante justice. Unwilling to accept his methods, Sakura stays close to him, hoping to change him and stop more harm before it is too late.
